About me
I am a highly experienced group facilitator, delivering training and psycho-educational courses since 2009. I have an inclusive approach to training, encouraging interactive participation and promoting clear understanding, which is reflected in the positive feedback I receive.
While delivering training I am able to utilise and appropriately share, knowledge and insight aquired during 20 years of working with people experiencing mental health issues, including counselling young people, supporting adults diagnosed with severe and enduring mental health disorders, and managing staff teams working within stressful environments.
I have delivered workplace training to a wide range of sectors and industries across Southern England and the Midlands including: Aviation, Construction, Engineering, Financial, Local Government, Higher Education, Research, Retail, Sport, and Voluntary Organisations.
Originally employed in the construction industry, I lectured in Further and Adult Education, before working in Voluntary Sector Mental Health Services.
Having gained certificates in Education, Community Mental Health Care and Person Centred Counselling, I was awarded a diploma in Cognitive Therapy from Oxford University in 2011.
